- Sunday Scripture Readings
- Reflection on the Scriptures has become
more and more a part of basic Christian spirituality. At times
we would like to return to the Sunday Scriptures at home, but
we do not have the missalette with us. At other times we may
be interested in seeing just what came before or immediately
after the reading for the day to gain more insights.
To encourage this encounter with
the Scriptures, we will be including in the bulletin the scripture
reading references for the current Sunday and the following Sunday.
In addition, in our on-line bulletin we will have the actual
links to the readings.

- QUESTIONS OF THE
WEEK
- 24th Sunday of
Ordinary Time
How
someone answers Jesus' question from today's Gospel, "Who
do you say that I am?" makes a difference how they live
their daily life. As you go about your routine this week, consider
the following:
Adults: What choices must I make this week i order
to follow in the footsteps of Jesus who, out of pure love, freely
embraced suffering for others?
Children: What might Jesus be asking of me this
week?
- STEWARDSHIP
- The
response for the collection to help the Diocese of Biloxi and
the Archdiocese of New Orleans was very generous. The parish
sent to the diocese $1441 to be forwarded. Thanks
to all those who so generously contributed to this effort!
